If you haven't ordered Jenny's book then you are missing out! Her book is chock full of step-by-step instructions/pictures to making your own Zippy Strippy Quilt. The only way you could fail this project is if someone took the book away from you! No kidding! It is a win-win situation for all...:O) She has detailed information about fabric choices, measurements (she does ALL the figuring for YOU!), sewing techniques and washing instructions. The book is sprinkled with her charming personality as well as a few delicious recipes to keep the quilter satified and happy! She even includes a 'special' gift just for you. Her book is definitely in the TOP 10 of my crafting books.

Thanks Jenny for sharing your knowledge and skills with all of us. You are a sweetie!

"I loved working on my ZSQ project!!! Everything went fairly fast & easy; stripping the fabrics, laying them out, sewing the strips together & the washing & drying the ZSQ might have been what took the longest - but was well worth the wait. In the end, I have a soft, cuddly, raggedy flannel quilt that is the most comfiest I've ever had. Will definitely make more ZSQ's in the future."

The Zippy Strippy Quilt is my new favorite project! Ripping the strips was so relaxing and it came together so easily. This is a great project for busy people because it only takes a matter of 2-3 hours. The ZippyStrippyQuilt is a great gift idea. The fabric and decorating possibilities are endless and it looks like you spent a lot of time and money. This is one of the neatest projects I’ve found in a long time where I can have a neat gift in just a short amount of time.

This is just the first of many more!

I consider myself to be a relatively experienced quilter and have lost track of the number of quilts I've made over the years. But, this has to be the quickest and most fun I have had making a quilt! Measuring and cutting is a breeze. Use the quick reference and then simply snip an inch or so and then rip! If you can thread a sewing machine, sew a straight-ish seam. you can make these quilts. Sewing is so simple that a beginner will have no problems. No 'points' to match, no intimidating terms and the beauty is you can go from a stack of fabric to completed rag quilt in less than a day. They literally take a few hours from measurement to finished project. I'll definitely be making more of these!

A little time and effort and you have a beautiful heirloom-quality quilt! I really liked stripping the fabric...good stress reliever! The sewing was easy and with the right scissor the clipping wasn't too bad even though I have arthritic hands. The finished quilt was so soft and pretty. I would definitely do this again for a gift for a baby or wedding shower or for anyone to whom I wanted to bestow a hand-made heirloom item.

I thoroughly enjoyed making the Zippy Strippy Quilt. I am a "quick results" oriented type person and I can tell you, that in under 5 hours it was started and finished, down to the snipping! It was quick and easy and a thoroughly enjoyable experience! I will be making more of these Zippy Strippy Quilts for Christmas and birthday gifts since it is an easy way to give someone something that is handmade and so practical for everyday use.
